As a kid, I would watch my family argue all the time about the smallest things ever. But whenever my granddad would put on a DVD, we always came together. My mother, my grandmother and grandfather was the first people to expose me to movies with starring actors and actresses like Denzel Washington, Will Smith, Jamie Foxx, Jim Carey, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Halley Berry, Martin Lawrence, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Lawrence Fishburne, Eva Mendes, Queen Latifah, Wesley Snipes and many more! We would always come together even more when we would watch TV shows like: Fresh Prince, Martin, The Jamie Foxx Show, In The House, Big Brother, The Bernie Mac Show.
As a kid, I was always quiet, observant, and always imagining all the possibilities of what I could be in my head. I had no real father. My grandfather was very disciplinary and my great grandfather fought in World War II; Military background. All of those TV shows and those famous actors that I looked up to, through my small little television, were the ones I saw as my father figures also; especially Denzel Washington and Will Smith. I would imagine at times what it would be like to have a father like them. And at most times, I would imagine if I were them. How to act like them, how to think like them, even knowing to play the exact same roles at them.
Today, I am now a professional music producer, musician, singer, film director, script writer and actor. All of which I have watched and learned as a kid through powerful people I saw on television have inspired me to become what they are; A Superstar.
